My power mirror switch is seems need cleaning. The mirrors work in most but not all directions. Before I start, I would like to know how to remove the switch -- Any help appreciated.

Do I need to remove the entire door panel?
Any special gotcha's?

Nevermind, Answered my own question. No you do not have to remove the entire door panel. The pad that houses the controls lifts off with just a little finger prying (Lift from the front).

Just took it off, removed the switch, disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, installed, connected in less than 20 minutes. Works great.

congrats. Yah its kinda scary pulling it off, b.c right at the point you feel you are going to break the clips, they release and tha panel comes off.
