Air pressure sensor

Is there any way to disconect the sensor? so it will stop blinking. My dads put new tires on his 05 explorer and they broke the valve stems and now the light comes on and off. the valve stems are $100 each so an easy fix would help.

Uuuuh, nope. If they broke the valve stems, they should replace them, plain and simple. They'll need to replace the sensors, then reprogram the TPMS to recognize the new sensors.

First, invite the shop that broke them to install new ones at THEIR expense.

Second, I think the TPMS can be disabled in the PCM. Or by just removing the bulb from the cluster.

It should be the tire shops responsibility to replace the sensor if they broke it, just go tell them what happened.

How do you reprogram the TPMS? I had to replace one, and now the warning is on the display 24/7......
