Keyless Entry problem
So during the holidays it was exceptionally cold for this area, one morning at like 3:00AM I decided to run and get some food. I get to my truck and i cant unlock the doors, the keyless entry was entirely unresponsive.
I ran upstairs and got my second set of keys, and same problem, wouldn’t respond at all to my clicker. I was kind of pissed off at this point because I had been standing in the freezing cold for at least 15min trying to unlock my truck.
I figured that maybe if the keyless wont work the alarm wont go off, so I unlocked the truck manually and sure enough, at 3:00AM in my quiet neighborhood my truck alarm started screaming. Luckily after a few minutes the alarm warmed up the system enough for my clicker to work.
So i notice that when it gets cold (30-40) degrees, which I know isn’t cold at all for some of you. My keyless entry doesn’t work at all. During the day its fine, but during cold morning it wont work.
So I take it down to the dealership and of course the tell me "we cant replicate the problem" and that it was probably an isolated incident.
So fast-forward to this morning, we had a decent chill last night and here it is 10:30AM and I still cant unlock my truck.
I need your help, what do i say to the service people?
BTW, don’t know if this is Genuine ford parts, it was installed at the dealership (not by request) keyless entry was not listed on the sticker but they installed it as soon as the truck came in for some reason. Probably to hike up the price.

Do you have a suppliment for the RMST w/ Alarm ?
The Ford Gold RMST w/ Alarm FOBs would look like these ( these are the CA ones, who Ford OEMs the kit from ):
If not, you have another mfgr of RMST ( or is it just a RKE ? ) w/ alarm.
