2006 s-crew fog lights??

Recently my 2005 s-crew was totalled. Here is the forum on that:

I am very luck in that the dealer has located an EXACT replacement truck, same color too, only it's a 2006. I will be getting it soon. The only option that is missing is the fog lights. My question is does anybody know if the wiring is already in place in the harnesses to add fog lights at a later time?? In other words can I just replace the switch assembly and change my bumper and add the fog lights?? If the wiring is not there I will probably just say forget it for now. Please let me know if you have done this or know if it is possible. Thanks!

The 2 members that I tried this process with on XLTs, did not have the wiring in place. In previous years, the XTL would have some / most of the Lariat wiring harness.
So, if you stick you head under the front bumper, and take a look, the connectors are no longer tapped back into the harness, they are MIA.

Sorry, but you are SOL on this one. Maybe think aftermarket or get a different truck ?

I am in the same boat, the wiring is not there, the relays are there, but unable to find wiring. They changed the bumper on the 06, so the center piece is not as wide as compared to the 05. You can do one of 2 options, find a 06 bumper with the holes for the fogs in it, or see if a 05 bumper fits the 06's and mount 2 4" lights kinda like a super duty config. I haven't figured out what I am going to do yet. FYI the 06 bumpers are hard to find unless you have an exact PN. If anyone has any other ideas swing them by

Place with bumpers in stock :
http://www.newtakeoff.com/index.asp?...S&Category=209

'05 or '06 new take off $249.99. Shipping is from IN.

'05: OEM Item ID: 4L3Z17757BA
'06: OEM Item ID: 6L3Z17757BA

I don't know if the mouning location for the Fog lamp is included or not.

For those with 4x2 adding tow hooks, they also have the 4x4 Lower Valance for 25.99 ( vs. MSRP 46.87 / Fordparts.com : 34.45 ).

SSCULLY I must say you rock I have tried everything possible to find one, and well you just made my day. Going to order it now. Thank you so much for your help. I am not adding the OEM fogs but thinking of doing some PIAA lights instead. Again thank you!
