need to know how to bypass neutral safety switch

I have i 1990 F-150 4wd. truck will not turn over, been told to bypass the neutral safety switch.. How do i do this.. I have a c6 transmission..

According to the Haynes manual the neutral safety switch is on the transmission where the lever that hooks onto the linkage from your shift lever hooks up. The switch is right where this lever pivots where it goes into the transmission. To bypass the switch, unhook the wire going to it, there should be two different connectors. Run a jumper wire between these two connectors on the wire part, not on the part that bolts on the tranny, and you have bypassed the switch.
