Electrical will not shut off
Apparently I jumped in this boat with you all. Mine just started this battery killing spree two weeks ago. I started throwing parts at it I got so aggravated. New alternator, starter, rewired everything at the battery with new stuff. All got better for 3 days. Then it rained. That didn't mean anything at the time, however now I feel the need to go look. I don't have any water that I know of getting inside, but it sounds just like yall's problems. My biggest issue is that I have so much excess electrical stuff in mine that most don't have, so I have to spend twice the time hunting for an issue that is hidden so well I'd rather light the damn thing on fire and get a check.
One symptom is a wet carpet up behidn the fuse panel area.
Don't know if you checked for this already, or if it is a 100% certain symptom when the GEM is taking a bath, but it could be worth a 35 sec hand poking around to see.

This is where I differ though. I have no wet carpet, and I just took everything apart and there is no indication that anything in there has ever been wet. I haven't had any symptoms that everyone else has had, cept for I just had the airbag light stay on after a jump start. Turned it off, and back on and the light went out. Thats the first light thats ever stayed on. Nothing else remains on or malfunctions. I looked at the GEM and its got a plastic cheap cover over it, apparently a failed attempt to protect it from being wetted should the winshield ever leak. I am just about ready to just buy one of those battery minders that kills battery power if there is a draw when the car is off.
I've got the windshield out. going to clean it up and try to reinstall on tuesday.
Found evidence of water leaks. Water was in the GEM plugs. No corrosion though. Guess I lucked out there. Going to clean , dry and reinstall this week.
Currently have a fan going in the truck to dry out the carpet.

The best way to dry a vehicle is to drive running MAX A/C at the highest temperature & blower on HI with all the windows closed. The heat makes any moisture evaporate; the A/C condenses it & it drips out onto the ground; and MAX recirculates the air so you don't pull in fresh moisture.
I started having the exact same symptoms a few weeks ago as well. I have husky floor liners and everytime it would rain I would notice a small amount of water on the floor mat and strange electical problems would happen for about a day or so. I did have a dead battery after 3 days of rain on one occasion. I did have a small amount of water in the GEM when I pulled it apart this past weekend, luckily no visible corrosion. I had the windshield replaced yesterday and it is supposed to rain this weekend... keep your fingers crossed.
Got the windshield back in and everthing is ok except for an air bag light. Its flashing a 52 code. I'm looking for info on reseting it.
After doing some research I decided to get the glass put back in by a professional.
The adhesive, (2 tubes) is 32 bucks and primer is 7 bucks. I paid 50 to have it put back in. Water leakage was all around the window. He had to grind the rust off the metal. All should be good now.

Make sure there's a good 10A fuse in position 2. If you have battery voltage on BOTH R/Wh wires of the ADM connector and disconnecting the battery for ~2 minutes doesn't clear the code, then you might need a new ADM (airbag diag. module). The actual test requires a scantool capable of reading the airbag PIDs, so take it to the dealer if the battery trick doesn't work.

Would greatly appreciate to see the photo's of your removal of the GEM/Fusebox. Thanks
Mine wasn't rain related, at least not so I think
Under hood fuse 6 (which powers underhood fuses 3 and 5) is the circuit with a draw. It powers radio, cd changer, sub amp, rear integrated radio controls, and premium radio amp. I disconnected all of those things and its still drawing. Must be bad under the box.
Also, fuse 19 in car for me is the instrument cluster and air bag diagnostics. It has run a foul to, which causes charging problems
