Headlights Just Came On !!!!!

My truck 2000 F150 was parked in the parking lot at work. Someone said "Your headlights are on". Sure nof the headlights were on but the Headlight Switch was in the Off position. It was daytime and I had not used the headlights. I turned the switch On then Off and the lights went Off. Only thing unusual was that my GPS unit had fallen loose from where it was suctionecuped to the windshield and it had hit the dash above the headlight switch. Anyone had anything like this happen? I'm tempted to go beat on the dash to duplicate the problem !!! Is there and Auto Headlight Option that I am aware of.

on 2000's they had a DRL option (daytime running light) but if you had that, you would have the headlight switch that says like off, drl on, parking, headlights.

GPS probably hit the headlight switch just right and turned your lights on. More than likely one of those rare underheard of occurences that cannot be explained....which is kinda weird since you said you found the headlight switch in the off position....scratching my head on this one
