2004 F150 - Speed Control Not Working

2004 F150 automatic, Speed control not working. Owner's manual only shows fuse for speed control disconnect switch. Checked it..all good, besides stop lights and turn signals on same circuit are working fine. Is there another fuse or relay in the speed control circuit? I see two switches on the brake pedal. One I believe is for brake lights other should be speed control disconnect. Which is which? Any other information would be helpful.

It may have been disabled for whatever reason in the PCM. That's the first place to start when checking cruise control on a vehicle with electronic throttle control.

A buddy of mine works for ford. I told him about the problem and he told me that it is a recall on fords part. He said that some of the 04's were getting stuck in wide open throttle with the cruise on so the pcms were shutting it off automatically. I haven't taken mine in yet (lazy) but my buddy said it should be a free fix because of the recall.
