Driving Lights

How do I get the driving lights (fog lights) to be able to be turned on with the parking lights or with the automatic lights?

Is there something I can wire in or splice?

Any help or pictures would be great.

Thanks,

Steve

This is FedEx pilots write up on the Fog lamp mod.

You can also search the electrical forum here with the term foglight mod* and find several threads on this topic.

Is there just a wire job that will do this -

Foglamps on with Autolamp, Foglamps on with parking lamps, Foglamps on with low-beams

That is what I want to accomplish, and I'd like to do it the easiest way possible.

easiest way possible is whats stated in the previous threads. if you want them to turn on automatically with your headlights (without having to pull the switch out) splice into the yellow wire instead of the brown.

By doing that, they will come on with the autolamp feature too?

youre splicing into the parking lamp harness so anytime the parking lamps come on the foglights come on. if the parking lamps come on with auto headlights then yes that will work.
