ABS Light Comes on During Long trip

I have a 2006 F150 SuperCrew King Ranch with less than 5000 miles on it.

I just got back from a Texas to Florida trip (16 hours) over the holiday and my ABS light came on after 2 or more hours of driving. Each time I turned off the truck at a gas station or a rest area, the light would go off until 2 more hours of driving. The brakes seemed to work fine whether the light was on or off, but I am concerned about the problem.

Is this a known issue? Will there be codes in the computer? It is still under warranty, but I would like to have as much information on a potential fix before taking it into the dealership. I do not think they are going to want to drive my truck for 2 hours to see the problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated,

KR-Texas

first of all you still have regular brakes and they fine.some people see that a.b.s light and think they have to stop driving it. bring it back have then scan it. could be a bad wheel sensor.

Ditto on what he said, you just don't have ABS. FYI: the most common sensor to be fail is the rear wheel sensor on the diff, but scan the codes and then you will know.
