Electric window problem (sticking)

My passenger electric window will not roll down.

I took off the door trim, and while holding the down button, I gave the door a hit with my fist, at the location of the window motor, from the inside. The window worked perfectly up and down for a few days.

However it is now is stuck again. Could it be that in just needs to be greased more? How would I do this? It seems like it is binding at the motor regulator interface and I don't know how these gears work.

take the door panel off and then take the white plasticy stuff off. take a look in there and if you see corrosion of any kind then see how bad it is and if it needs to be replaced or not. if it looks dry then grease it up. id suggest white lightning. it could be that moisture has gotten in there some how so wd-40 may do the trick. while your in there check the track. it could be bent or the window may have started coming off the track.
