Not starting

Hey,
I have a 1990' F-150 Xlt Lariat and its not starting, its turning over but it won't start. The crank is moving and the harmonic blancer is rotating but its not fireing. im thinking that i might need a new distrubutur or wires but im not sure. do you know what the prombelm might be? and if so its it hard to fix?

all engines need 3 things to start. spark, fuel, and compression..just start eliminating one thing at a time. most times its a tune up related. fuel filter, plugs etc....

well i have fuel and commpression so i guess it would be spark then, so i guess the best bet would to be to change the sparkplugs n wires as well as the distrubtor?

Don't start buying parts until you KNOW what the problem is. Buy a Haynes manual PN 36058 w/light blue cover & a cheap digital multimeter (DMM). Follow the procedure in Ch.5 Sec.5 beginning on p.5-5 and it WILL isolate any fault in the ignition system.

Also, read this thread.
