I just had a Python 2-way remote start and door lock installed in my 2005 F150 this past weekend and i've got a few problems. 1st, the stereo turns on when the truck starts, not normally a problem, but it also will not shut off when I use the remote start to turn off the truck. Also, when I unlock my doors, the headlights no longer come on? The first, I assume the installer should be able to fix, but the second, I'm not sure if it's because it's an aftermarket starter that changed it?

The dealer said 'that's what happens when you install an aftermarket unit. Turn the radio off'.

 

My radio works fine with my RS but the headlights don't come on when I unlock the vehicle at night time. Installer said that the way it is.
