hey everyone i think my alt is going... i have 100k and a new battery but when both my troyer fans kick in my head lights seem to dim not alot but i noticed it today when it was super foggy. whats a good brand and should i get a higher amp?

 

Before you spend the money on a new alternator, check the terminations on your battery cables at the battery and at the frame/block ground. Make sure that they are CLEAN and tight. Check the cables themselves for corrosion near the terminals/lugs making sure that the copper is bright and not grey or black. A bad connection or corroded wire can cause the problems you are describing.
