2005 keypad code

Any way to find the original keypad code on a 2005 F-150 supercrew? If so, How and where do you find it? Thanks

there should be a card in your owners manual that has it on it, or you can take it to the dealer and pay them to hook it up to the computer and give it to you

Whatever you don't pay them to do it. It only takes 2 min. to do it. They know where the code is.

If you just want to yank your rear seat back, you can get to the BSM/VSM module, which has the code on it :

Picture ( from Mike ) on how to remove it :

Unless your dealer is cool, or you do a lot of business with him, it is a min shop time to hook up the IDS and read the code.

Seat back removal is not that bad, don't take nigdonht's standard answer of take it to the dealer. That seems to be the bulk of his 149 posts
