factory 6 disk cd player

anyone know if a am/fm 6 disk cd player out of a 05 or 06 f150 will fit in my 2001 f150 and will all the wires plug up or will i need to cut wires

I see lots of Ford 6-CD players on EBAY. I've wondered if one's out of a Taurus would fit. They look them same.

The '05/06 will not be an easy fit IIRC. I believe the mount is completely different.

Check this site. They sell a lot of oem radios and they have mount information and show which models a particular radio will fit in.
