Won't Start....popping fuse

FYI
I just replaced my starter relay/switch that mounts on the firewall. Been a few times the truck didn't want to start but after a second try it would. I thought it was that thief system and key missing up. But today it quit for good. Turn the key and nothing, check and find blown fuse so in goes a new one and it blows again. Unplug the start wire going to the relay and no blown fuse. So I replace the relay and everything is good to go.

This is the first time in 30 years that a Ford starter relay has gone south on me what's up with that

Sorry to hear you had the problem, but I have to thank you for posting a cure with the problem, rather then just the problem, and an open thread

Thanks

I'm thinking maybe a water problem since it sits so close to the hood/seal. I'll cut it open and see whats going on in there. The funny thing is it happen just after me dropping off all my scrap parts.

This crane operator lowers this big magnetic disk on my trailer then the next thing you notice is all the stuff is flying through the air, a couple of times I thought the trailer was going with him. That made me wonder if my no start problem was a magnetic flux capacitor issue
