12 volt power outlet

I have a 1998 F150 subercab. The Power outlet next to the lighter is not working. I have tested all of the fuses under the dash and they are fine. Doea anyone know what the problem could be?

On a 99' the fuse is under the hood. Fuse 1, 25amp in the battery junction box.
The black plastic box is located on the drivers side over the wheel well sorta by the master cylinder. Open fron the end nearest the windshield. Pull up and it's hinged at front. I have a hard time opening... A fuse dia is molded in the cover.

If you have your Owners Manual handy, page 140 for the Power distribution box ( under the hood ) lists fuse #10 as the Aux Power Socket.

If you need one ( i.e. did not get it from the P.O. ) :
www.fleet.ford.com -> Under the Maintenance Tab -> Owners Manuals.

http://www.genuineservice.com/genuin...efault?page=E4

www.motorcraftservice.com -> Left hand side, Owner Guides

I don't know which printing I have for the 1998, so the page number could be slightly different ( + / - 1 or 2 pages ).
