I need to remove the turn signal assbly on the front corner. Can someone help me as to how these are removed?

 

From the pdf version of the 2001 owners manual, page 185 shows how to remove the front parking lamp / turn signal lense to replace the lamp.

Maintenance and care is the section it is under.

2000 Owners Manual might be on a slightly different page number, but it should be in the same section.
