I've noticed lately that when I fire up my truck (01 Screw, 4.6, 4WD) that the digital odometer doesn't always come right on. It's gone for a few moments to a few miles before it comes on. Any idea what's causing this and or future problems that it's indicating.

I will agree with these guys, killer fix and works great!! I had to re-do after about 2 months but figure I did not use enough solder so I added a bit more. Plus, I also used plastic cleaner then plastic polish from 3M for the clear shield and cleaned everything else nice. It's pretty easy, just use a pen magnet so the screws don't fall in the dash like 2 of mine did. Kind of tight in spots so be careful and patient.
