wipers are not working..please help

1994 f150 regular cab xl. windshield wipers do not move when the switch is rotated. when you rotate the switch, there is a "clicking" sound coming from the glovebox. can anyone help me figure why they are not working?

thanks

Pop off the caps at the bottom of the wiper arm, and make sure the bolts are tightened down that hold the wipers to the arms. Sometimes they don't get tightened real good from the factory, and can work loose over time.

If that doesn't work, pop off your cowl and check to make sure the wiper rods are connected. One may have popped off. Make sure they are securely attached to the plastic grommets. Plastic grommets wear out over time, and you may need new ones.
