does anyone know of anything that will take off the dull hazy film on my 97 150s headlights?

Try Simple Green, Windex, or that Orange Glo stuff

Depends if it is yellow, or if it is just dirty in need of cleaning with plastic cleaner. The other question, is it on the outside, or inside ?

You can try it in stages, slightly increasing.

I would start with Plexus plastic cleaner / polish first. This is something that you can use all the time, so it might not get it..depends on how bad it is.

If this does not work, the next step I would try is Meguiar's #10 plastic polish. I use this on my motorcycle windshields, when they take a severe hit, and get scratched.

A step up in the "working action" I think would then be Meguiar's Plastx. If I have my abrasive steps correct. If this does not get it, then you are looking at a semi-professional plastic cleaning kit, or a trip to the bone yard to try to find a replacement.

What ever you do, don't use a chemical on the lense, this is a big no-no, and could make it worse, rather then better.
Windex and paper towels are for glass, not plastic, as a matter of fact, I would not even use this on my house windows.
Orange Glo is a degreaser, not a plastic polish, wrong application of Orange Glo.
Simple Green is way too harsh chemical wise to use on plastic.
All of these are very bad ideas to try on plastic headlamp buckets.

Maybe a troll through the detailing section would be in order, priot to trying any of this, the electrical forum is not the best place to post this at.
