Mean Green HO Alternators

For those that can't find a good, decent priced HO alternator!

For most Ford vehicles...INCLUDING the 2004-2006 F-150 New body style. I had to dig deep to find these guys. A decent price for any vehicle that they make HO alts for, though it's about to go up. **if you want the new F150 body style alternator '04+ you must call to order, their site hasnt been updated!

For the '04+ F-150 5.4L, its rated output is 220A hot @ about 2000rpm, and 115-120A at idle.

I ordered one today, shipped cost is $387. I'll let you all know how it works out. It is supposed to bolt right on, and adapt to factory wiring, though I'd recommend up-ing your wiring to at least 4 gauge to make best efficiency of that power.

Another company that makes one that I think is a little better is KES Alternator (kesalternator.com). It runs $650 and I think has about the same power ratings, execpt it peaks a few hundred rpm lower.

It took me two weeks to find both of these companies, and they are the only two I could find that make a HO alt for the new F150's.
