Power window problem
Here's the deal....
My passenger window will go down, but not up. The window is completely down in the door.
I went thru the hassel of removing the window motor; the gear spins ONE way ( to roll the window down). I thought the motor was bunk, so I bought a new one. The new one does the same thing....spins one way, not the other. So, I assume the problem isnt the motor.
Considering I can get the motor to spin, with both the driver and passenger side controls, down, but not up, Im assuming its not the switches.
I literally pulled each and every fuse, under the dash, and under the hood, and theyre all good. So, that eliminates that theory too.
I obviouly have a short somewhere. Theres juice going to the motor, no doubt about it, it just seems strange that the motor will only turn one way... and like I said, I purchased a new one and it did the same thing?!?!?!
Perhaps there's a current polarity issue? I have no clue.
Id appreciate any suggestions.
