Anything's possible. It's possible that it got jarred and the lamp blew too. Without having it in my hands, it's tough to tell. All the code is telling you is that the lamp is out. Could be the pin in the connector making poor contact, or an open somewhere in teh circuit. Until you take it back apart to see, it's all a guessing game. My best guess is that the bulb is burnt out or the connector didn't fully seat when you reconnected it. Start there and see what you've got.

hey yall i have an 06 and the air bag turned on and when i looked into it i found that the wires that go in to the sensor for the passenger seat was cut. i reconneted the wires but the light just blinks now any ideas how to fix it?

Can anyone tell me the best way to get to the PAD bulb on a 2002 so I can replace it? I have the 2-7 code also and my PAD light does not come on at all.

 

Pop the bezel surrounding the radio and climate control off and it will be right there.

I have a 1999 ford f150 4x4. The bulb on the passenger side airbag switch is out and I have a 27 code. Also the switch doesn't stay in the off postion when I turn it. Can those be rebuilt?
