The power door locks are not working on my 1998 Ford F-150 extended cab. Every time I use them they blow a fuse.

I pulled the passenger side switch off hoping that the driver side would work. It does not. It must be in some kind of loop where both has to be present. Because when I hit the switch it will actually lock/unlock the door then the fuse blows.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Check to see if your fuse is the right amperage, you can find that info in your owners manual.
