Sounds like the blower motor resistor is shot.

Here is a thread on the location, and the P/N for the blower motor resistor for a 2003. Hope it is close to your MY.

deffinatly a resistor I replaced mine when it only worked on high easy fix 15 dollars from ford garage for the part 2 bolts and a wire harness bam bout 3 minutes ur done... it is located under the passenger dash below the glove box. when you look it will be a little black box with 2 screws holding it in and just a wire harness going into it pop the screws out and drop it, you will see a sping looking device on the other side probablly corroded pull the wire harness and reverse process with new part. very easy if you cant find it or need more help let me know I can get you pic but very easy.

Indeed, either the blower resistor pack is shot (and is a $17 part) or all three control wires and/or all three positions on the switch gave out simultaneously.

My money is on the resistor. One of them (the low-resistance one) will likely be burnt open.

David, I think i may need that pic, if its not too much trouble.
There is no little black box visible under the glove box.

Shoot me an e-mail or PM. I can't post that link here, but they're on the 'other' site in JMC's gallery.

Tried to PM you, but got this message...
Cazimere, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Any way, i went and got one at the dealers and the service manager
told me it was under the hood and that he would show it to me.
Well it was not under the hood. He did locate it after some computer searching. I have not seen it yet, but i've touched it.
It is up behind the (i think) a/c duct which is behind the glove box.
I'll give an update after i've tried to replace it.
Thanks all

Laid a hand mirror on the floor with a flash light shining on it so i could see the culprit. A 5/16 nut driver for the 2 screws, and bingo !!!
Thanks Guys. Couldn't have done it without you.
I would have had to drop my truck at the dealers and rent a truck for the day.
Would have cost me at least 300, maybe more.
Thanks again
Caz
