Vanishing Odometer no more= Happy day!!!

Well sort of, my house A/C went kaput, and it's 97+ today, 99+ tomorrow. After 3 years of putting it off, I tried the odometer fix and holy it works. Give the man a Pulitzer for that DIY thread. Not a big deal, spent most of the time cleaning and looking for lost bolts. USE A MAGNET OR MAGNETIZED SOCKET TO INSTALL THE BOLTS SO THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO YOU!!! My 2 cents. I even added solder to seal the deal.

My radio has been replaced with a Pioneer (check gallery) but I don't think so. The last I remember is a small corner going dim, right side top and if you push on it it lit back up so I say WTF? CD player was crapping out, so in with the Pioneer.

Nope, if you use the pic provided in that thread on fix'n it, you'll see (look close for any separation and you'll see it. I used the pen at 20 amp, not 40 (overkill) plus added a dab of solder. Most time is spent cleaning, I use to smoke eh so ashes got everywhere. Just be super careful and don't let the damn screws fall, have a pen type magnet. Very pleased, plus my A/C was fixed on the house a day early.
