Aftermarket FOB

Is there an aftermarket FOB that would let me unlock my truck as well as my wife's Explorer? In other words being able to program 1 FOB to control multiple autos.

TIA,
Kris

Not that i know of, you may want to call your dealer and see if it can be done. Maybe im missing it, but i dont see why you would want to unlock both at the same time......

I am not wanting to do both at the same time I just do not want 2 FOBs on my key chain. So basically it would have a button or somthing that would switch between the two different autos.

I'm getting ready to put an AutoPage RS615 remote start module on my 01 Lariat S Crew for that very reason. I decided to go with it because the remotes are 2 car capable and are compatible with the RS610 that's in the wife's minivan. You just push the II button to tell the remote you are controlling car #2. To do it, you have to have a remote start put in BOTH vehicles (these are about $250 installed). The remote start ties into the power locks.

Sorry that would be the results ( if the 2 are close enough ) if you program the factory fobs to both systems.

You can program the 2 with the same fobs, but it is not similar in function to what I think you are asking for. Have 2 sets of buttons on one fob, for car #1 and Car #2.
Is that what you are looking for ?
