bought my 2000 f150 new... while still under warranty, speedometer randomly would peg itself at 100mph (course odometer's heating up at same time) regardless of how fast i was actually going. it would even do this in park. dealer at first couldn't find any thing wrong. third trip it did it while at dealer, so dealer replaced cluster. three times!!!!!!!!!!! its five years later and guess what? its baaaaack!!!!!!!! seeing as how the dealer doesn't have a clue, has anyone else heard something about this?? a thousand thank yous.
