Fog light question...again....

I have used the search feature several times now and the info Im looking for was not found on 14 pages of results. So Im asking for a hand....

I did the 05 to 06 bumper swap on my stx.I now have the round fogs in my bumper.I need to figure out how to make them work now.I have NONE of the needed wiring for the fogs.I would like to ground the lights and use the parking lights to turn on the fogs.I will need to install a relay I know but where do I get the pig tail that plugs into the bulb in the fog lights? At this point I do not have bulbs installed in them but it looks like a 9145 would work in them so where do I find a connector for a 9145 bulb?Any one know what wire to tap into on the parking lights to get 12 volts to turn on a relay?

STX would have none of the factory wiring harness installed ( don't know if you tried to find it or not, but don't bother ).

Fog lamps on with the parking lamps ( no key in run position requirement ).

If you know how to wire in the relay ( correct pin assignments ):
The ground side of the coil to ground.
The power side of the coil is to the parking lamp wire which is a brown wire. The 3 wires on the park/turn lamp socket should be :

ground = Black ( don't use this for fog lamp ground, or relay ground )
Parking lamp = Brown
front turn signal = Light Green w/ white stripe (left ) | White w/ light blue stripe ( right ).

For the 9145 socket :
- Junkyard for a 04-06 F-150 ( I think the new MY mustang uses the same one ? )
- Napa ( I have not looked on line to confirm, but they have H4 sockets, among others in stock around me ).

I took a quick look at my Sylvania fog lamp bulbs, and they are the 9145ST ( Silver Star bulbs ), so that is the correct part number.

Don't know if you care to have a switch on the fog lamps or not.
If you do, it is real easy to run the ground wire for the relay coil into the cab of the truck, install this on one side of the switch, and then use a ground in the cab of the truck to complete the ground side of the relay coil circuit.
This would allow you to turn them on and off, if you wanted to.

Order them online then.

http://store.racinglab.com/heavdutwirha.html

KYO Plug-N-Play Heavy Duty Wire Harness Upgrade Kit (Model H10/9145)
$19.95 Price is for one pair (2) of wire harness.

This would get you the 9145 bulb connectors.
Just cut off the end that would go to the factory harness, and solder / shrink tube them the 14AWG wire to the relay.

On the first page of the google srearch term 9145 bulb socket

The internet is a great thing, isn't it ?

Well its all done.Got 2 pig tails from autozone for 5.30 each a set of silver star bulbs while I was there.I ran 10 guage power and ground for each light to a relay mounted near the air filter.Pulled power from the batt with 10 ga and a 20 amp fuse to the relay.I picked up 12volts switched in the fuse box and ran it to a switch I put next to the cig liter. They work with the switch only but I will add a relay so they can be with parking lights or with the switch at some point.
Its not to bad to do if you can get the tails and the wire. Its a pretty easy install.
Thanks to sscully for chipin in and offering help....
