Connector Questions

There is a connector behind the headlight controls, does anyone know what that does, it is not in use on my truck.

Also there is another connector under the dash behind the passenger airbag, that I have a question about, what does it do, I know that if it isn't plugged in, that the low-beam headlights don't work, but what does the other wires in that connector do...

Red-capped connector

Did you ever find out what that one behind the headlight switch was for?

I discovered that yesterday on mine.

no, but the one in the 2nd & 3rd pictures is for the autolamps (which I don't have), I can look at the wires and somebody here would know.
