Do you know if the fuses and the relays for the factory tow are installed in the fuse box ?

If you look in the towing forum, there is a sticky with the info in it.

If you look at the Power Dist. box ( fuse box under the hood ) :
Fuse #5 20AMPs, this is the Trailer Tow Backup/Park Lamps.
Relay # 201 Trailer Tow Park Lamp Relay

If either of these are missing ( or blown in the case of the fuse ) the trailer parking lamps will not work.

That is the best place I can think to start looking. I also have the trail tow install directions scanned into a pdf, if you want to drop me an email via my profile, I can email them to you ( this is the '01 version, info also in the sticky already )
