Blown Pcm Fuse!!

I have a 97 F-150 4.2L.
Couple of weeks ago had very rough, eratic idle. After changing pcv valve, throttle position sensor, egr valve and idle pressure valve I noticed it was a bad 90 degree boot underneath the plenum causing a vaccum leak. Replaced that and everything was back to normal. Then last week, driving down the road engine stopped with no warning, still had power, while still moving threw trans into neutral and tried to start but nothing. When I came to a stop I looked in fuse center under hood and found that the PCM power fuse was blown. Had no spares so I used the same amp fuse above it ,for trailer brakes,
and it started right up. Immediately bought extra fuses just in case. Went about 5 days and then it blew again. I do not see any frayed wires that could be shorting out. ANY IDEAS?

CKEN24,

If you do a search for [/i]PCM* Fuse[/i] you will find this thead closed out 2 days ago. Provides the list of items to check for when blowing the PCM fuse #24.

Oddly enough, same MY and engine size.
