Aftermarket Alarm

So now maybe i regret purchasing just a keyless system w/ power door locks. I want to install an aftermarket car alarm system. I want every possible means to deter vehicle theft.

However, I want to be able to salvage this keyless entry system that came with power door locks. I believe that's the main reason i got them in the first place - the convenience of keyless entry along with powered door locks. My truck came with manual door locks (with no actuators in the first place). I'm really confused at this moment and I hope someone could shed some light into this inquiry I have.

If I were to get one of those common DEI alarm systems, do I totally do away with my current keyless entry system w/ power door locks? Or will I still be able to use them along w/ a different alarm system? The brain/module has 3 on board relays: 2 for the door lock actuators and 1 for auxiliary output. Will I be able to interconnect (at least) the 2 door lock relays with a that of a different alarm system? I dont want to have to purchase an alarm and not make use of my powered locks and keyless entry. Going back to manual is not an option this time.

Sorry but this is all a totally new experience for me. Heh, I never thought I'd even install a keyless entry system myself until I've discovered this forum. Any help provided is greatly appreciated!
