I have a 2005 Ford E150 Cargo Van with the 5.4 liter V8. It has power windows and doorlocks.

Where I am having a problem is with the cigar lighter and accessories ports . . . neither are working. I have replaced the fuse twice even though the fuse that was there looked OK.

I used to run a DC powered refrigerator (small like a small cooler) out of the accessories port and I noticed that the plug was hot enough to burn you when I would take it out.

I'm sure something else is blown but I'm no mechanic and I don't have a clue what to do.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

 

You may have over heated it to were it's lost contact inside.You need to pull the wire off and check for power coming in to it ,then go from there.
