Unhappy Trailer light harness problems

Please help!!! I believe that I have problems with fuses but I am do not know how to get access to the fuse box under the hood. If someone could give me some simple, easy to understand directions (and pictures) that will help me diagnose the problem. I have tested the connection and there is no power to the plug which leads me to believe that it is a fuse problem. Thank you.

Open the hood and open the fuse box.

Instructions for both are in your owner's manual.

In case you can't find it, I do believe ( if my memory is recalling correctly at the moment ) that the BJB opens by a release clip on the firewall side of the box. I want to say it is on the side towards the engine, but that I cannot say for sure.

You will see a female side of the clip on the lid, that is over a ramped male pin. Pull towards the firewall slightly on the female side of the clip, and open the lid towards the front of the truck.

The relay and fuse locations for your MY series are in the first sticky in the Tow and hauling forum :

Q1. What has no power ?
1.1. The battery lead on the 7 pin ?
1.2. The turn signal for the LH side on the 4 pin ?
1.3. Any of the 11 pins back there ( 2 shouldn't, they are grounds )

Don't know if you already took a read through the owner's manual, and found the correct Fuse / Relay numbers to check or not. Some info on what has no power, would help in offering some ideas.
