headlight system

ok, so i was installing an aftermarket tachometer in my 2003 f-150 when i shorted out something while hooking it up to the light switch. my parking lights and my intruments lights do not work. when i turn on my parking lights only, my headlights come on, when i turn my headlights on, they do not go off. i checked my fuses and they are all good. so tell me, what did i mess up?

Aftermarket parts

I had the same problem until last night. The #6 (15A amp) fuse in the Power Distribution Box was blown. I replaced it and the all the park lamps and the instrument cluser/ dash lights came on.
