Hi, I just finished my setup about 2 weeks ago. Lots of fun with these horns so far. I don't have the nathan horns like you have but mine are similar. I have the horns mounted upfront under the radiator facing the passenger side. I have a 2 gallon tank mounted to the frame rail under the bed with a viair 350c compressor feeding the tank. Takes about 2 - 2 1/2 minutes to fill the tank from 0 - 100psi. I can get a good 7 - 9 sec blast before I notice the
horn sound changing. For your horns i'd recommend getting at least a 5 gallon tank if you want to blast for 10 - 15 seconds. The nathans seems to require alot of air compared to the others. I'll take some pics of my setup tomorrow and post them on here for ya to get some ideas.

Rob

Hi, it took me about two weekends to install mine but that was just because I went along very slowly. I have heard about using an ac compressor as an onboard air supply before and personally think its a good idea. Sounds like you will have plenty of air! On my setup I installed an extra quick connect which I can use to fill tires or operate small air tools for a short period, works out nicely. I personally have no experience with using an ac compressor or the components required to install one but maybe someone else on here can speak up for that part. But anyways heres some pics of my install:

Hi, I'm running 16 ft of 3/8" 200 psi working/800 psi burst air line. One thing I was told was that you don't want to use anything less than 3/8" or else you will have high pressure and a small volume which makes a quiet horn compared to having high pressure with alot of volume which makes a very loud horn. You will also want to avoid bottle necking with any fittings. Try to keeps all your fittings at least 3/8". I'm running my system at 100 psi. My pressure switch turns on the compressor at 70 psi and off at 100 psi. At 100 psi these things are looooouuuudddd!! I went out in the country to play around with them and did they ever echo. Sounded exactly like a train coming. I first scared myself when I hooked them up to only 20 psi in the garage for the first time. Here's a link to website that helped me alot and pretty much explains what I just summarzied.

neat' well today i got the Ac compressor mounted and running and pushing over 200psi now just got to get the wiring right ' runnig a pressure switch to the compressor and picked up 2 11 gallon tanks with a push button valve simalar to yours' im thinking of mounting the tanks under the truck and end up drilling into the bed' running half inch hose to the horns' ill keep yea updated on this' its going to be a great project'http://www.dieselairhorns.com/bythet...002/27_K-3.wmv http://www.dieselairhorns.com/bythet...us_P_s%7E0.wmv http://www.dieselairhorns.com/bythet...K-5LA._TM..wmvHeres some vids haha ' good fun !!

Well we got em up and running ' the only problem is lubercating the Ac pump' right now im adding some slick 50 to it to try and keep it lubed up ' but it does not sound that good when filling the tanks ' kinda get abit of a squeel outta the Ac compressor like its working overtime ' but if it fails in the long run i will go to a 12 volt air compressor' the hose i used was half inch' with brass fittings to finish it up ' we got the pressure switch set at 150 and putting alittle over 100 psi to the horns and a diamond plate for the horn mount under the box. i still gotta play with the regulator but ill got outta the city for that' took it for its first blow and hot dam these are worth every penny!' they put out just over 140 Dbls' it feathers really nice to'Could not have done it with out my uncle the electrician i had to honk at some gals under a bridge i was heading towards haha never seen anyone just so high in my life. but its good fun. . http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/9...ture0468lu.jpg [IMG]http://img110[IMG]

Hi, looks like a good setup. I bet those things are 10x louder than mine! You'll have lots of fun and the best part is instead of getting your blood preasure up when someone pisses you off you can just unleash those bad boys on them, lol. I seem to get a little adrenaline rush right before I push the button on mine, and I like it! I had some weird homeless guy come running up to my truck while at a stoplight over the weekend slamming his sign into my windshield and thats when I let him have it. That s.o.b. must have jumped 3 feet in the air! It may have cost alot compared to a regular car horn but I think these setups are definantly worth the cost.
