Power windows quit
Yesterday my power windows just decided to quit working. I checked all fuses linked to them and all fuses are fine. I have noticed lately that I had to press really hard on the buttons to get them to go up and down, did the switch just wear out? If so, is it an expensive thing to replace? THanks.

The XLT can go either way, do you have RKE installed on the truck ?
My 3rd album at the end has the 2000 EVTM 110-x pages. 1 is for without the RKE ( RAP ) installed, 2 & 3 are for with a RAP installed.

Should be a similar diagram to your 99, for the switch layout ( either RKE or non RKE ) with the color codes to bypass the switch, and test the actuators directly.
