Disable Factory Alarm without disabling Electric Locks?

I've got a 95 F150 (Eddie Bauer Edition) and some time ago, the factory alarm(same thing as if I were to push the 'Panic' button) decided that it would go off unless I unlocked the passenger door first. This got to be quite annoying since most of the time I am driving by myself. The keyless entry pads were lost long ago (went through a couple washings and/or just stopped working, I've probobly still got them somewhere though).

Anyway, I pulled the circuit breaker and that fixed the alarm problem, but it also disabled my electric locks, which is also kind of annoying (not nearly as annoying of having the horn start blowing every time I forget to unlock the passenger door first though).

Is there a way to go about disabling JUST the alarm?

The problem is likely with the driver door disarm switch. This switch is located on the backside of the driver door key cylinder and turns the alarm off when you insert your key and unlock the door. If it fails the alarm will stay armed and then begin alarming as soon as you open the door.

Look into a replacement switch, I don't believe there is a way to simply disable the alarm easily.
