6 bulb headlights
This is what i want to do.
When i put my bright light on i want my low beams and my fog lights to stay on.
i have an aftermarket housing for my headlights (seperate bulbs for high and low now) so i dont think heating should be a problem.
does anybody know how i can do this? i saw the fog with high beams mod in the technical articles but i dont really get it and i was wondering if it were possible to use 1 relay for both things.
can anyone explain these to me better than in the article.
Does anyone see any problem with doing this?
if i just make it so the low beams stay on will this make the fog lights stay on as well? (seeing as they will stay on when the low beams are on.)
here is a pic of my headlights

For your MY, start with the Fog lamp switch modification, to have th fogs on with the parking lamps, and the high beams ( FEdEx pilot posted this on his web site, at least I recall it to be both, not just the prking lamps only ?? ).
After you have this, the next step is to power the low beams when the high beams are on.
Easy route, is to add a Relay that the high beams power the coil on, and this closes the N.O. contacts on the relay, that has a feed to the battery on one side of the contacts, and on the other feed both low beams circuits.

Remember to size the wire accordingly :
Each low beam 55 watts.
P=V*I
55=12*I
55/12=I
4.58=I
2 low beams 4.58 * 2 = 9.16.
Using the 80% rule, use 14 AWG wire and a 15 A fuse for the drawing above, and at least a 20 Amp relay.
Let us know if you have any questions, this should cover it ( aside from correctly recalling what FedEx pilots mod covers for when the fogs can be on...that I might have goofed on ).
Good luck !

I thought that required additional grinding, but I am unsure at the moment, how much.
I'd check with your local authorities first. In the U.S., in most states, that would be illegal. It's generally accepted that you can't have more than 4 forward-facing bulbs lit at any one time, when driving on surface roads.

Subsection (a) is what is written on the ticket, when you get one for having a head lamp out on a car, or don't have your M/C head lamp on while moving, and is what the first 2 of subsection (b) are counted towards.
