Horn problems with 1997 F-150
Hi,
I've got a 1997 F-150. A few months ago I woke up to find the horn on my truck going off. I had to beat on the steering wheel to get it to stop. A couple days later... 3 am... same thing. Hit the steering wheel and it stops.
I took the horn relay out to stop the nuisance but then I noticed that my cruise control had stopped working. Replacing the horn relay somehow made my cruise control start working again. However, that very night the dang horn went off again.
Anybody know how to fix this horn problem? I've heard people mention "clock spring" but I'm not exactly sure what that means.
Thanks,
Sal
