Which Code alarm and where to buy it?
I have a new 06 F150 XLT with remote keyless entry and would like to add an alarm system. What is the most painless system to self install and what kind of $$ am I looking at and where should I purchase it? Are the 2 way paging systems any good?

Take a look over at Travis stuff.
He offers an option for pre wire, and the directions included with it for like 25 or 50 extra. The prices don't seem to far out of line from what I have seen.

From what I am guessing your requirements are, you are looking at a CA-630 or CA-670 ( this is the 2 way ).

I think the 2-way is over rated personally.. the little keychain thing is too big/geeky looking for me. I ordered the alarm/remote start (Gold System equiv) from Travis last week. He's a great guy... and he'll help you install it if need be too!
