I need help. My head lights stay on after I turn the switch off. The parking/tail lights don't come on either. I have changed the switch once and it helped, but I recently hooked my boat trailer up to my truck and the problem returned. I don't want to go to a dealer and spend a fortune on something I can do myself. What can I do?

did you check your tow wiring? If its faulty it could have caused the switch to go bad again. I'd be concerned about it only because you said it worked fine till you hooked a trailer up to it.
