radio wiring
im trying to figure out how to access the AUXILLARY input on my '04 F150. removing the dash and getting to the back of the radio is simple, BUT which wire or input is it to connect a device into it? an help is great, thanks!
Depending on which audio system you, you will need to get a PIE interface.
If you look at www.pie.net for something like the FRD04-AUX, this will convert the 16 pin CAN interface to 2 RCA jacks. From there, you can get a cable from RadioShack, or some other place and convert it to 3.5 mm headphone jack size.
Drop me an email, I can send off some pictures of my install when I had my FRD04-AUX in my truck for my Starmate Reply, prior to installing the Ford / Visteon Sirius tuner this past weekend.
