Wipers only work in the fast whipe mode.
Hello everyone!
I have a 2000 F-150 4.6 and my windsheild wipers only work in the fast mode or if I press the wash button in. If I put the wipers in the fast mode and try to turn them off they stay in the fast mode. The only way to turn off the wipers is to turn the ignition off. I took the switch appart and it was clean with no corrosion on the contacts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

This is just from threads that I have read through...
Have you tried to move the tilt on the steering wheel all the way to the up position, and try it again ?
I have seen posts, where moving the wheel all the way up, caused it to start working again, which almost points to a loose connection to the MFS under the steering column ( or warn out, if you use the tilt a lot ) and it might jsut be a case of pushing the connector fully back together again.
Jsut a thought from what I have read, I personally have never seen this happen, or have worked on it.
Good luck, let us know what you come up with
