trailer wiring diagrams??
i have a trailer that was wired for a chevy (1999) and i am trying to get the blinkers and brake lights to work with my truck. i heard i just needed to switch the blinkers and brakes wires, but dont know where to move them to
assuming your truck plug is factory and working correct than the trailer is prolly wrong. the wiring should be in a standard format.
make sure they are the same as this diagram by using a test light or multimeter.

wow, thats funny i was just looking at that site! it was already like the diagram on the right, so we switched the wires to the other one and it didnt work either. maybe it is the ground? should I take all wires out except blinkers, and test the ground until the blinkers work, then work backwards from there?
i have a 7 -round, i tested it earlier with a test light, and my electrical seems to be working fine. i was trying to avoid driving to uhaul on my way out of town with no trailer lights, i think i might get a couple adapters in the morning, its too cold to work out there anymore!
i appreciate the help! thanks!
