Question Programming power locks on 97 F150

Is there a way to re-program my power locks so that both driver and passenger locks will unlock with one push of the button on the remote? Right now it takes two pushes; one for the driver's and then a second for the passenger's.

Check you owners manual to be sure, but on my '01 and my '06, the only way to get that feature was by adding the Ford Silver Remote start, and programming it to have all the door unlock with a single push.

I make mention to check the owners manual, as I have found many things in the '97 to mid '99 MY are different then the '00 to '03s.

Good luck, post back what you find out.

Looked at my manual. All I've found is how to operate the power locks.....Quite a load you have there chester8420. I bet it really cuts down on the mileage.

Looks like you are stuck with the double tap on the fob, unless you go with a Ford RSMT or something like adding in a AudioCode RKE unit, or if going to the pain for this, might as well go with the CA-530 for the remote start or if you really go hog wild, the CA-630 for the Alarm ( same as the Ford Gold RSMT ).

Traivs has some good pricing, and for 25.00 will include MY specific wiring diagrams for the install.
