Question Driving/Fog Lights for a '98 F-150

My current 150 has the black plastic space covers for where I could install the OEM driving lights. After seeing that they are around $125-150 per light, I was hoping there would be some suggestions regarding an aftermarket light kit that might fit the bill, which includes looking good on the truck.

I did a posting search and there were some entries from several years back - didn't know if there was any new information that could lead me to a better decision.

Any help here would be appreciated.

i would try a search on ebay for the lights or a junk yard for a rear total. they should be pretty easy to find.

You used to be able to buy the entire kit from Ford for only 175, it had the 2 lights, new switch and all that you needed for an install. Check the local wrecking yards and see what you can get.

Get the Ford assy add on for the fog lamps, if you want them to look stock.

I thought the cost on the complete kit was like 280.00 lights and harness.

With your MY, you will not have the factory wiring to add them in easy, so you will need the new harness in the kit.

The old kit P/N that I can find : YL3Z 15200 AAA ( did not show up on www.oemfordparts.com or fordparts.com in this format. Might need to drop Jerry Castle at www.oemfordparts.com an email and ask him. He is great about digging up P/Ns and getting a reply back kind of the New Gary Starr now that Etascadero Ford is no longer online )

2000FordStyle got one back in '03, if you drop him a PM or email he might be able to find the P/N that he ordered.
